We are pleased to announce that Hyperscan 5.0 has been pushed to Github on 9th July. This is the 2nd release in 2018. As you can see, we just moved from Hyperscan 4.7 to 5.0, it is a major feature update in terms of function enhancements, so far, we don’t expect to break any APIs & ABIs yet.
Hyperscan 5.0 adds 3 major feature improvements:
- A hybrid library of Hyperscan and PCRE called Chimera,
- Logical combination matching,
- Experimental support for Windows.
